Rather than the typical Amazon contemporary large, flat and closed house, the 12 Cubes House proposes a new sustainable typology adapted to the hot and wet climate of the Amazon: the house is a super thin and long volume that maximizes cross ventilation on all levels and protects
its East and North façade with an air cushion in-between two concrete planes.

The South façade is also protected from the Sun with a playfull and mobile system of typical brazilian garage doors.

The house is composed with 12 programmatic cubes and hollowed in its center with a cross-through balcony.
